The Northwich Pina Colada Festival is a free, tropical-themed annual event featuring an urban beach, a massive samba parade, and local cocktail trails. It takes place in Northwich Town Centre on Saturday, August 22, 2026, starting at 12:00 PM and running into the evening. The event celebrates the town's connection to Rupert Holmes, the writer and composer of "Escape (The Piña Colada Song)", who was born in Northwich. Festival Highlights & Activities: The Samba Parade: Featuring massive groups of samba drummers, dancers, and festival mascot Mr. Colada moving through the town. Attractions & Zones: An urban beach, a surf simulator, Sharlands Fun Fair, old-school street games, and a free photo booth. Food and Drink: Local bars, pubs, and cafes across Northwich serve specialized alcoholic and non-alcoholic piña coladas alongside tropical treats. Live Entertainment: Music stages and dance zones are set up across key areas like Apple Market Place and Barons Square.

Dress Down Sunday at the Kings Lock ft The Leaping Frogs and Marc Gallagher

DRESS DOWN SUNDAY is a LIVE MUSIC EVENT - our ("genre-neutral") monthly celebration of LIVE ORIGINAL MUSIC - the last Sunday of each month. Next one is 30th AUGUST 2026. It's from 2:30pm and is usually all over by 5pm so you can get home for tea. Multi-musician MARC GALLAGHER is a top notch entertainer and I love to showcase his thoughtful, intelligent self-penned songs, usually performed on his ukulele. Not to be missed! THE LEAPING FROGS have carved out a name for themselves with folky covers of singalong crowd pleasers. However, I know they also have a fair few original songs up their sleeve, and have recently been working on more. They are really keen to play some of these new ones for you. I'm excited! And I - JASMINE ALLEN ESTATE - will kick things off with a few songs of my own. No tickets, no charge - just turn up and support live, original music.
